Positions in andrology and embryology

A typical day starts at 6:30 and finishes at 14:30 and weekend coverage is expected on a rotation basis as per the embryology laboratory director. The compensation is competitive and based on experience and performance. Full time employees are eligible for benefits.

Your main responsibility will be to perform andrology related procedures. These include but are not limited to semen analysis, sperm preparations for intrauterine inseminations as well as strict morphology which is a scoring system based on the shape of the sperm.

Once the embryology director considers that you are skilled in these techniques, you may also begin training in embryology, including but not limited to setting up for egg collections, identifying and storing eggs at collections, cryopreserving sperm and embryos, grading embryos, preparing embryos for transfer, inseminating eggs and finally performing intracytoplasmic sperm injection.

Once skilled in both andrology and embryology, the time spent between the two areas will be on a rotation basis depending on the skill set acquired and at the discretion of the embryology laboratory director.

This is a highly specialized position that teaches a unique skill set in an exciting and rapidly evolving field. It requires dedication, integrity, good hands and attention to detail.

A minimum requirement for this position is a bachelor of science.

Based on your application, the embryology director Hanane Lachgar may contact you for an interview.
